About Master Kim

Master Hyunmoon Kim has been teaching Sun Do throughout the U.S. and Canada since 1979. He is a founder of a meditation retreat center in Northern Vermont where people can come to hear the principles of Sun Do, purifying their bodies and strengthening their spirit while looking deeply into their lives.

Master Kim is presently a Professor of Taoism at Hanseo University, S. Korea, and is the author of The Tao of Life. Master Kim has a four-fold plan to bring the teachings of the Celestial Human to the people:
1) To bring authentic Mountain Taoist Sun Do teachings and practice to the West.
2) To establish retreat locations for serious practitioners and to train Sa Bum Nims (Teachers) to be able to pass on the traditions.
3) To develop self-realization projects to aid recovery of health for suffering humanity.
4) As a Professor of Taoism, to introduce Sun Do to academia.
